Right to Information (RTI)
The Right to Information Act, 2005 enables citizens to seek information from public authorities and promotes transparency and accountability in administration.
Submitting an RTI application
- Clearly identify the information or records required.
- Include the applicant’s name and complete contact details.
- Address the application to the designated Public Information Officer.
- Attach the prescribed application fee or valid proof of exemption, where applicable.

Requests may relate to institutional rules, administrative records, approved policies and other information available under the RTI Act, subject to its exemptions and applicable regulations.
